So, I have gotten into reading people's blogs lately....starting with my wonderful friend Riki-Leigh and I found two more today from friends and somehow stumbled upon my own. I did not even know that I had a blog!
I think now, looking back, that I was required to make one for a computer course at USCB and TOTALLY forgot I had it! I was very surprised...and a little excited!
Now I can't promise I am going to keep up with it...but they are pretty cool and fun.
I think right now I am just loving reading other's but maybe that will entice me to start keeping up with my own! I guess we will see...

The end of 2009 is approaching and this time of year is full of events and happenings.
Several birthdays, holidays, the cold weather sweeping in, the time changing, these are all things that come to mind when I think about the last few months of the year. But also I think about Thanksgiving and not really the true meaning of the holiday but it does make me think about all the simple things in life that I am so glad to have or am 'thankful for'
The other day I started a roast in my crock-pot before I left for work in the morning. I had a long day at work and got home to smell that roast cooking and realized I didn't have to cook dinner!!

Driving down the road and getting a flat tire

The list goes on and on and what it all boils down to is that I feel very blessed. Life truly is good. When I start complaining about a bad day or something basically trivial I try to remind myself that there are people in this world that have it much worse!
